The last few nights have been hard ones, Hard to calm my mind enough to fall asleep peacefully. And a lot of what is on my mind is centering around Donald Trump. If not him, it’s me trying to wrap my mind around being understanding of the people that do support him. For all things in my life, I try to put myself in others shoes to understand their points of view, I want to and I think it’s good and healthy to be open minded to others. Sadly, I just can’t fully put myself there when it comes to Trump. Tonight, I watched the latest SNL, because Aziz Ansari was host, and I think he’s great! The end of his monologue really touched me. I am worried, but I will be alright, along with every other person who is worried in these weird times right now. I am beyond proud to be an American, I’m beyond lucky in the life I have, but I don’t have to be proud of Trump as president.
